Academic Policies
The Master of Public Affairs at Sciences Po is a highly selective program which sets rigorous academic standards of achievement. As such, it requires that students meet certain minimum performance standards in order to continue in the program and reach graduation successfully. Throughout the program, students are expected to remain in good standing with Sciences Po and abide by a strict code of ethics that establishes norms of acceptable behavior and intellectual integrity.
Since students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, they need to familiarize themselves with the norms and expectations for their academic and personal behavior in the MPA program.  It is every student’s responsibility to have read the Academic Policies and understood the content of each section.

The Academic Policies cover the following subjects:

  • The Curriculum
  • Advisors
  • Career Counselors
  • Graduation Requirements
  • Dual Degree Requirements
  • Code of Ethics
  • Academic Probation
  • Leave of Absence
Please see the 2009-2010 MPA Academic Policies here.
