Dual Degree Admissions
Application is made during the fall semester of the first year.
The procedure consists in writing a short Personal Statement
which is submitted to the partner school along with the student's
original application to their home institution.
Admission to the dual degree at any partner school is contingent
on the successful completion of all first year requirements
by the end of the second semester at the student's original
school. Once admitted to the new school, the student becomes
a full-time regularly enrolled student there, and is therefore
subject during the second year to all the rules and regulations
set by the partner school.
Students doing a dual degree with Sciences Po and SIPA pay tuition
to their home institution for both years of study. Students
doing a dual degree with other partners pay their tuition to
their host institution for the year they study there.
At the end of two years, two distinct MPA degrees are awarded
to the student by each school for successful completion of all
degree requirements.
New Dual Degree Track with SIPA
In addition to the existing option of applying to a dual degree during the course of the first year, Sciences Po and SIPA have launched a new dual degree track.
Candidates can decide to apply for the dual degree MPA track Sciences Po-SIPA. A joint selection committee will assess applications in February. Candidates who are not admitted for the dual degree track but who are accepted to the MPA at Sciences Po will still be allowed to apply for the dual degree during their first year at the MPA.
The deadline for application to the dual degree track is the 1st of February, 2010.
